Attempted theft from a car in Hayden Road Rushden

Dear Resident

We are appealing for information after an attempted theft from a car in Hayden Road Rushden.

The attempted theft occurred between 9pm Friday the 24th and 9am Saturday the 25th April while it was parked on Hayden Road.

We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to this incident, or that may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious. Please call us on 101 quoting reference number 26000240659 or report to us online here.

There are some simple but effective things you can do to help protect your vehicle:

Park your car in a garage or driveway if possible, or on a busy, well-lit road. Choose a ParkMark® accredited public car park wherever possible

Never leave anything on display in your car. The cost to repair damage to the vehicle will usually exceed the value of the theft

Drivers of some Toyota and Honda vehicles and some 4 x 4’s should install measures to deter theft of catalytic converts e.g Catloc | Catalytic Convertor Theft Protection
